The RGV Coalition for Mexican American Studies in K-12 Education

The Rio Grande Valley Coalition for Mexican American Studies in K-12 Education advances the teaching and research of Mexican American Studies for K-12 and higher education in the four counties of Willacy, Cameron, Hidalgo and Starr. The coalition also engages civic issues unique to the region by providing research briefs for stakeholders to consider when deciding federal, state and local policies.

    So excited that this was shared with me via Facebook. I am a coach in the Houston area and we have teachers that either teach Latin American studies or are creating courses for this on their campuses and I know this will be an indispensable tool for them!
